Spa and pool

Every spa brand. Every pool.

E.W.A. reads the water itself, not your control box, so it works with all spa brands and every pool.

Balboa BP · Gecko YE3 and YE5 · 220V standalone Fits any spa, fits any pool

Why it fits everything

E.W.A. measures the water directly, its pH, its sanitizer as ORP, and its temperature. It does not read your spa's brand or its controller, it reads the water those numbers live in. That is why it does not depend on which spa you own.

Balboa BP and Gecko YE3 and YE5 packs get deeper integration, so E.W.A. can talk to the controller as well as read the water. Everything else runs the 220V standalone version, which reads the same three numbers on its own and gives you the same plain-words guidance.

Compatibility

Two integration levels. Deeper control on supported packs, standalone reading on everything else.

Balboa BP

Deep integration

Works with the Balboa BP series control box. Reads the water and talks to the pack for tighter control.

Gecko YE3

Deep integration

Works with Gecko in.ye V2 packs. Reads the water and integrates with the controller.

Gecko YE5

Deep integration

Works with Gecko in.ye V3 packs. Reads the water and integrates with the controller.

Any pool or spa

220V standalone

No supported pack, no problem. The 220V standalone version reads the water on its own, on any spa or pool.

Pools, not just spas

E.W.A. is not only for spas. It works on any pool, above ground or in ground, chlorine or bromine. The same four numbers that balance a spa balance a pool, and E.W.A. reads them the same way, straight from the water.

If you want the full picture of what those numbers mean and what to add when one drifts, read the water balance guide.

Install

E.W.A. fits inline on your existing plumbing. Most owners have it in and reading in under an hour, no new pipework and no specialist. For the step by step, see how it works.

Common questions

Which spas does E.W.A. work with?

Every spa. E.W.A. reads the water itself, so brand does not matter. Balboa BP and Gecko YE3 and YE5 packs get deeper integration. Everything else runs the 220V standalone version, which reads the same pH, sanitizer and temperature on any spa.

Which pools does it work with?

Any pool, above ground or in ground, chlorine or bromine. A pool is balanced by the same four numbers as a spa, and E.W.A. reads the water directly, so it fits your pool the same way it fits a spa.

I have an import spa with a no-name control box. Does it still work?

Yes. If your pack is not one we integrate with, E.W.A. runs the 220V standalone version. It measures the water on its own and tells you what to add, no controller integration required.

Does it work with saltwater?

Yes. A salt system still relies on sanitizer, pH and temperature staying in range. E.W.A. reads ORP, which is the real killing power of the water, so it watches a saltwater spa or pool the same way it watches a chlorine one.

Do I need the controller integration for it to work?

No. The deeper integration with Balboa BP and Gecko YE3 and YE5 is a bonus, not a requirement. The 220V standalone version reads your water and gives you the same plain-words guidance on any setup.
